Small M2.5 Earthquake Strikes in East Bay: USGS

A preliminary 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck Friday morning in the East Bay, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake, centered about 13 miles southeast of Livermore, hit at 7:36 a.m., the USGS said.
