The Sunvalley Mall in Concord is on lockdown as officers respond to a shooting Friday afternoon.
Police said there does not appear to be any threat to the public but ask everyone avoid the area.
People were allowed to leave the mall at about 5 p.m., but not before some witnessed what they called a “chaotic” scene.
One witness said she saw at least one person shot.
No additional information was immediately available.
