San Francisco set to launch crackdown on RV encampments

San Francisco is set to launch its crackdown on RV encampments Friday, as new parking restrictions take effect.

A 30-day mandatory waiting period has ended, and the city is now turning to “progressive enforcement,” a process the mayor and city leaders say will be compassionate and complex.

The city is slated to roll out its multi-phased plan starting Friday that will consist of a gradual buildup to the new two-hour parking limit.
