Road Rage Allegedly Leads to Shooting, Barricade in South LA

A suspected road rage incident led to a man ramming vehicles, shooting at a driver that was following him and a barricade in South Los Angeles Saturday, police said.

The road rage incident occurred at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said. For unknown reasons, the man got mad and began ramming vehicles, the LAPD said.

One of the drivers in the cars targeted in the ramming started following the man, who then proceeded to shoot at the driver but did not strike the driver, the LAPD said.

The man then fled into a trucking school in the 400 block of East Manchester Boulevard and was believed to be barricaded inside a trailer, police said.

The LAPD said the SWAT team had been requested.
