Marsh Complex Fire Near Clayton Grows to 500 Acres: Cal Fire

Firefighters Saturday are battling multiple brush fires in Contra Costa County.

The so-called Marsh Complex is burning on Marsh Creek and Morgan Territory roads, west of Brentwood, according to Cal Fire. Firefighters said the blaze has burned at least 500 acres on the north side of Marsh Creek Road.

No injuries reported and no structures have been damaged, according to Cal Fire.

A shelter-in-place has also been issued in Clayton while firefighters work to put out the fires. People in the area are advised to stay inside, close windows and doors.
