Several streets in downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to a visit from President Donald Trump.
The President is in town for a fundraiser Tuesday in Beverly Hills. He will be spending the night in downtown Los Angeles.
The street closures are expected to begin early Tuesday morning and continue into midday Wednesday.
The Los Angeles and Beverly Hills police departments issued the following list of streets to avoid.
Tuesday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- The area around N. Spring Street between S. Avenue 18 and Alpine Street
- The area around W. College Street between N. Main Street and Figueroa Terrace
- The area around Stadium Way between Lilac Terrace and Bishops Road
- The area around Wilshire Boulevard between the 110 Harbor Freeway and S. Flower Street
Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- The area around Wilshire Boulevard between S. Flower Street and the 110 Harbor Freeway
- The area around S. Figueroa Street between 7th Street and W. 4th Street
- The area around N. Hill Street between Bernard Street and Alpine Street
- The area around W. College Street between Yale Street and N. Main Street
- The area around N. Spring Street between Alpine Street and S. Avenue 18
Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunset Boulevard between Ladera and Beverly Drives will be intermittently closed
- Benedict Canyon Drive between Sunset Boulevard and Mulholland Drive will be intermittently closed
Tuesday, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- The area around Bundy Drive between Airport Avenue and W. Pico Boulevard
- The area around Sunset Boulevard between S. Sepulveda Boulevard and Bedford Drive (Beverly Hills)
Tuesday, 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- The area around Sunset Boulevard between Bedford Drive and S. Sepulveda Boulevard (Beverly Hills)
- The area around W. 9th Street between the 110 Harbor Freeway and S. Flower Street
- The area around S. Figueroa Street between Olympic Boulevard and W. 6th Street
Tuesday and Wednesday
- Figueroa Street from Sixth Street to Eighth Street
- Wilshire Boulevard from Flower Street to Beaudry Avenue
- Seventh Street from Flower Street to Bixel Street
CNBC reported that Tuesday’s fundraiser will be at the home of real estate developer Geoffrey Palmer, a major Trump and Republican Party donor.
