List: Bay Area School Closures Due to PG&E Power Shutoffs

An expected 800,000 PG&E customers will be impacted by proactive power shutoffs in parts of several Bay Area counties and across much of Northern, Central and coast California due to high fire danger.

Here’s a list of Bay Area schools that plan to cancel classes during the power outages:

South Bay

North Bay

Napa County

Sonoma County school districts

The following schools in the Santa Rosa City Schools district will be closed Wednesday:

East Bay

Oakland Unified School District says all schools are in session with the exception of Skyline High School, which will close Wednesday.

Here’s a list of Oakland schools that could potentially close during a power shutoff. The following schools may lose power around noon Wednesday, officials say:
