LAUSD to provide 3 meals a day amid lapse in CalFresh benefits

An investigation is underway Thursday following the deadly shooting of a young girl in San Bernardino, officials said.

Authorities responded to a shooting call Wednesday around 12:45 p.m. along North G Street and Base Line Street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a minor with gunshot wounds in the back of a small apartment complex, police said. The victim, described as a juvenile girl, died at the scene.

Investigators determined that the victim and the suspect were familiar with each other, according to San Bernardino police. A weapon was also recovered at the location.

The suspected shooter fled from the area. No arrests have been made.
