Kaiser Permanente workers to begin 5-day strike

As rain continues to fall across Southern California, causing slick roads and possible flooding, at least two big rig crashes have been reported.

In Sierra Madre along the westbound 210 Freeway, just before Rosemead Boulevard, a big rig hit the center divide and fell onto its side.

The three left lanes of the freeway are blocked due to the crash and a Sig Alert was issued.

A second big rig crashed at the 134 and northbound 5 Freeway split near the Burbank area, blocking the three right lanes.

Traffic was said to be affected all the way to Los Feliz Boulevard.
