
An overturned big-rig has prompted closure of Highway 121 in both directions near Sears Point, the California Highway Patrol confirmed.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. CHP said the truck came around a corner, hit the guardrail and the trailer tipped over.
Firefighters said the trailer is leaking gas across the road, and the extended closure is due to cleanup.This incident has prevented more than 100 people at Viansa Winery from being able to leave.
Other wineries are impacted because customers can’t get in.
It is unknown when the highway will reopen.
