Firefighters on Wednesday continue to battle a 1,000-acre wildfire burning in Stanislaus County, according to Cal Fire.
The so-called Rock Fire, which is 15% contained, is burning off of Del Puerto Canyon Road west of Patterson, Cal Fire reported.
Firefighters are making progress in containing the blaze, Cal Fire tweeted early Wednesday morning.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
