Fire Crews Douse 2-Alarm Blaze at East Oakland Apartment Building

Firefighters knocked down a two-alarm structure fire in East Oakland that was reported shortly after midnight Wednesday, fire officials said.

Multiple engines, trucks, and battalions responded to the fire at a two-story apartment building in the 300 block of 105th Avenue.

It was unclear how the fire started, and no injuries were immediately reported, fire officials said.
