In the intense Bay Area heat this week, firefighters have extinguished a handful of brush fires, most recently a 75-acre blaze in South San Jose on Thursday and a 20-acre fire near Brentwood in the East Bay. Thankfully, the blazes were contained relatively quickly. Christie Smith reports.
