Concord officials ask some residents to shelter in place over police activity

The Concord Police Department is asking residents south of Cowell Road between Saint Francis and Ridge Park drives to shelter in place Monday evening.

The department said the request was due to “heavy police activity” on Saint Francis Drive.

People who see anything they deem unusual or suspicious are asked to call 911 or 925-671-3333.
