A 6-year-old child died in a house fire in San Leandro Thursday morning, fire officials said.
Five other victims were transported to the hospital, according to the Alameda County Fire Department. Their conditions weren’t immediately known.
The blaze broke out at about 5:30 a.m. along the 2000 block of Altamont Road, the fire department said.
