A woman was rescued after falling eight feet down a manhole in Harbor City early Wednesday.
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded to the scene shortly before 3 a.m. at 190th Street and Normandie Avenue in Harbor Gateway to rescue the approximately 40-year-old woman.
According to the LAFD, firefighters used a rope system with a high-point over the manhole.
The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No further details were immediately available.
