
Police in Vallejo on Wednesday responded to someone reportedly brandishing a weapon, leading to a shelter-in-place order for several hours, but a suspect wasn’t found.
Officers searched for the suspect near Sutter and Illinois streets and set up a perimeter after issuing a shelter-in-place for the area south of Nebraska Street, west of Broadway, north of Tennessee Street, and east of state Highway 29.
The suspect has not been located and is currently at large, police said at 10:30 p.m., but there is no threat to the public. The shelter-in-place has been lifted.
