All the highlights from the Rams 34-7 victory over the Bucs on Sunday Night Football

The Los Angeles Rams continue to roll through the season as Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes in the team’s 34-7 victory over the Tampa Back Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Devante Adams caught two of Stafford’s three touchdown passes as the Rams improved to 9-2 on the season, and sit alone atop the NFC Conference.

Here’s the highlights of the Rams dominant blowout victory over the Buccaneers that gave them their sixth consecutive win.

Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams capped off an 80-yard opening scoring drive for the Rams on one-yard catch in the end zone that gave Adams a touchdown in eight straight games.

Less than three minutes later, Rams’ cornerback Cobie Durant ripped the ball away from Bucs tight-end Cade Otton after he juggled the ball trying to make the catch. Durant returned it 50-yards for a touchdown that put the Rams up 14-0 early in the game.

On the Rams next drive, Stafford threw a no-look pass to tight-end Colby Parkinson for a five-yard touchdown. Stafford had completed his first 12 passes of the game.

It was Parkinson’s third straight game with a touchdown pass from Stafford.

With the Rams up 21-0, Tampa Bay drove the length of the field and Baker Mayfield found Tez Johnson for a touchdown pass that would prove to be the only points the Buccaneers would have on the night.

Mayfield finished with just 60 yards a touchdown and two interceptions in the loss. He left the game at halftime with a sprained left shoulder and will get an MRI on Monday.

Stafford flashed his MVP prowess with another dominating performance, punctuated by a 24-yard dime into the hands of Adams on a go-route at the end of the first half.

The touchdown put the Rams up 28-7 and was Adams’ NFL-leading 12th on the season. Stafford finished 25 for 35 with 273 yards. It was his eighth consecutive game without an interception. He tied Tom Brady’s NFL record with 27 consecutive touchdowns without an interception, and has thrown an NFL-best, Rams-best, and career-best 308 passes without an interception.

Puka Nacua had seven catches for 97 yards receiving and Kyren Williams had 46 yards rushing.

The Rams’ defense also shined on the Sunday Night Football stage. They allowed just 123 total yards in the first three quarters and Jared Verse and Kobie Turner each had two sacks apiece on a night the team honored Aaron Donald, who retired in March of 2024, after winning the Super Bowl with the Rams and dominating opposing offenses for 10 seasons in blue and yellow.

Verse said after the game that the Rams have the best defense in the league, and Turner went a step further, calling the Rams’ defense “the best in the world.”

The Rams will take on the Carolina Panthers next week at 10:00AM PST.
