Police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred outside of a poke.bar in Burlingame at around 6:20 p.m. Friday evening.
Authorities say a 19-year-old driver struck someone on a bike and then hit two young children on a sidewalk before crashing into a restaurant. A 4 year-old boy has died and a 6-year-old girl was rushed to Stanford Hospital.
The driver, from San Mateo, is cooperating with police.
“This is tragic for any community,” said Chief Raj Vaswani with the Burlingame Police Dept. “As a parent, it’s horrific.”
Police are asking that anyone with additional information or video of the incident contact the department.
