Four people were displaced following an apartment fire in San Jose Saturday afternoon, according to the fire department.
The fire department said they responded to a full first-alarm fire at a two-story apartment building on the 500 block of S 7th Street.
According to officials, heavy fire could be seen coming from the second floor.
The incident resulted in four people being displaced and smoke damage to the adjacent apartment, according to authorities. The fire was knocked down just after 1 p.m., and crews were making sure the fire did not extend to the attic, officials said.
Fire officials also reported one first-floor apartment unit had minor water damage. The fire department said there were no injuries and that the cause is under investigation.
