Two people were hospitalized in critical condition Sunday after a shooting at a Simi Valley residence, authorities said.
Simi Valley police responded to a shooting call just after 12 p.m. at a neighborhood in Hawks Bill Place near Wood Ranch Parkway.
Officers arrived and found two victims with multiple gunshot wounds in the garage of the home, according to Simi Valley police. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The victims were described as a woman and a man in their 60s.
Simi Valley police believe the shooting to be an isolated incident. A motive for the shooting is unclear.
Neighbors told police they witnessed a man get out of a vehicle and fire several rounds.
