One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning on the 405 Freeway in Van Nuys.
The crash was reported just after 4:30 a.m. on the northbound freeway north of Sherman Way. The chain-reaction crashes began when a driver collided with the center divider, the California Highway Patrol said. The car when then truck by several other vehicles.
Others involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Lanes remain closed for the crash investigation.
Authorities initially said the crash might have involved a wrong-way driver.
